Talking in shul...oy vey!!!

What can we do???

The first thing to do is to watch with your students, Rabbi Siddur's "Not Talking in Shul"!

We hope that the video inspired you and your students to become better daveners. Let's see if we can find ways to make Tefillah more meaningful.

Challenge your students to come up with creative solutions for not talking in shul. You can divide the class up into several groups and hand out to each group a card, for example:

Group #1 will be the shul board and they received the following letter from one of their shul members:

Group #2 will be the school minyan committee, they have to tackle this challenge:

You can add more challenges - davening in camp and other interesting minyan settings.

The goal is for the students to come up with the solutions and also discuss how they can implement those solutions in their own lives.

If you have done any lessons on this topic, please let us know!

We're a chat away🙂
