Want your whole staff teaching with Torah Live? A school license is the easiest way to make it happen. You buy the seats in one place, invite teachers by email, and manage billing yourself. No back-and-forth with our team needed.
Each teacher gets their own Premium account: the full video library, quizzes, worksheets, and classroom resources. You cover the cost, and every teacher gets their own login.
Here's how it all works, from your first purchase to renewal.
Buy your licenses
Log in and head to Settings → Licenses.
Choose how many teachers you want to cover. The more seats you add, the less each one costs. You'll see prices right on the page.
Click Buy licenses and pay by card in secure checkout.
Done! Your license shows up on the page right away, ready for teachers.
Invite your teachers
On your license card, type a teacher's email and click Invite. Here's what happens next:
Your teacher gets a welcome email with an activation link.
One click, and their Premium account is live.
No payment details on their end. You've covered them.
Your card shows every seat at a glance: Total, Assigned, and Available.
What does "Pending" mean? The invite went out, but your teacher hasn't activated yet. A friendly nudge usually does the trick. Once they're in, the tag disappears.
Swap or remove a teacher
Staff changes happen. Click Remove next to any teacher and their seat frees up right away. Fill it with someone new whenever you're ready.
The teacher you removed keeps their Torah Live account. They just lose Premium access.
Add seats mid-year
Hired more teachers? Click Add seats on your license card. You'll only pay the difference for the rest of your billing year, charged to your card right away. The new seats are ready to assign the moment you confirm.
Reduce seats
Need fewer seats next year? Lower your seat count from the same Add seats screen.
Nothing changes mid-year. You keep every seat you've paid for until your renewal date. The smaller count, and the smaller bill, kick in when your license renews.
One thing to know: if more teachers are assigned than you have seats at renewal, the most recently added teachers lose access first. We'll email you exactly who was affected, so you can add seats back and re-invite them if that wasn't the plan.
Cancel or resume
Click Cancel license and confirm in the billing screen. Your teachers keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for. The card shows the exact expiry date.
Changed your mind? Click Resume license any time before that date and everything picks up right where it left off. Same teachers, same renewal date.
Update your payment card
Click Update card on your license card to change the card on file. Your next renewal charges the new card automatically.
Common questions
Can I invite a teacher who already has a Torah Live account?
Yes! Their existing account gets Premium access through your license. Nothing to set up again.
What if a teacher already pays for their own subscription?
We'll let you know when you try to invite them. They'll need to cancel their own subscription first, so you're never paying twice for the same person.
When do my teachers lose access?
Only when you remove them, or when a cancelled license reaches its expiry date. We never cut access mid-year for seats you've paid for.
