A school license covers Torah Live for your whole team. You buy the seats. You invite teachers by email. You handle billing in one spot. It all lives in Settings → Licenses.
What each teacher gets
Every seat is a full Educator plan. That's the whole video library, workbooks, teacher guides, source sheets, and the teacher dashboard. Each teacher gets their own login. No shared passwords.
Buy your licenses
Log in and go to Settings → Licenses.
Pick how many teachers you need. More seats means a lower price per teacher. You'll see prices right on the page.
Click Buy licenses and pay by card in our secure checkout.
Your license shows up right away. It's billed once a year and renews on its own.

Invite your teachers
Type a teacher's email on your license card and click Invite.
New to Torah Live? They get a welcome email with an activation link. You'll see a Pending tag next to their name until they activate.
Already have a free Torah Live account? Their access switches on right away. Same login. Nothing new to set up.
Your teachers never enter payment details. You've got them covered.
Your card shows your seats at a glance: Total, Assigned, and Available.
Give yourself a seat
Teaching too? Invite your own email, just like any other teacher. You'll get full access to all the teaching content. The seat counts toward your total.
Already paying for your own Torah Live plan? Then you already have access, and you don't need a seat. See the next section.
Your personal subscription stays separate
A school license never touches your personal Torah Live subscription. They're handled separately. Your personal plan keeps its own card, price, and renewal date. Changing or cancelling your license won't change your personal plan. Cancelling your personal plan won't touch your license.
Important: You can't have your own paid plan and a school seat at the same time.
Swap or remove a teacher
Click Remove next to a teacher's name. Their access ends right away, and the seat opens up for someone new.
They keep their Torah Live account. It just goes back to a free account.
Removing a teacher doesn't lower your bill. The seat stays yours to fill. Want to pay for fewer seats? See Reduce seats below.
Add seats mid-year
Hired more teachers? Click Add seats and choose your new total. You only pay for the rest of your billing year, charged to your card right away. The new seats are ready the moment you confirm. Your renewal date stays the same.
Note: Use Add seats, not Buy more licenses. Buy more licenses starts a second license with its own renewal date.
Reduce seats
Lower your seat count on the same Add seats screen. You can't go below the number of teachers assigned, so remove teachers first.
Nothing changes mid-year. You keep every seat you've paid for until your renewal date. The smaller count, and the smaller bill, start then.
Renewal
Your license renews once a year. The date shows on your license card. We'll email you before it renews. If your card doesn't go through, we'll email you a link to update it, so your teachers keep their access.
Update your card
Click Update card on your license card. Your next renewal charges the new card.
Cancel or resume
Click Cancel license and confirm. Your teachers keep full access until the end of the year you've paid for. Your card shows the exact date.
Changed your mind? Click Resume license before that date. Same teachers. Same renewal date.
Common questions
Does a school license change my personal subscription?
A school license doesn't change your personal subscription. They're billed and managed separately.
Can I invite a teacher who pays for their own Torah Live plan?
You can't invite a teacher while their own paid plan is active. We'll let you know when you try. Their plan already gives them access, so you'd be paying twice. Cancelling doesn't free them up right away, because their plan runs until the end of the time they paid for. Want to switch them sooner? Message us and we'll help.
Can I invite a teacher who's on another school's license?
You can't invite a teacher who's on another school's license. Each teacher holds one seat, so the other school needs to remove them first.
What if a teacher never got their invite?
If a teacher never got their invite, ask them to check their spam folder. Still nothing? Click Remove, then invite them again. That sends a fresh email.
What does my teacher see in their account?
Your teacher's Subscription page says their plan is part of a license and that you handle billing. They can't cancel or change it themselves.
When do my teachers lose access?
Your teachers lose access in only three cases. You remove them. A cancelled license reaches its end date. Or your seat count drops below the number of teachers at renewal. In that last case, the most recently added teachers lose access first, and we email you exactly who was affected. You can add seats back and invite them again.
What's the License ID on my card?
The License ID is your license's reference number. Click it to copy. Share it with our team when you need help, and we'll find your license fast.
Who can buy a school license?
Any teacher, principal, or school admin with their own Torah Live account can buy a school license.
