Class activity: Anger

A weekend anger monitor activity that helps students connect with our Anger course and practice overcoming anger.

Written by Meir

How can we help our students overcome anger?

This idea came from a teacher in Philadelphia. He was showing the Torah Live Anger course to his students and wanted a way for them to connect with the ideas in the videos.

How it works

  1. Toward the end of the week, show one video from the Anger series.

  2. Hand each student an "anger monitor" sheet.

  3. Over the weekend, students monitor their anger. Every time they're about to get angry, they write down what made them angry and the solution they came up with to overcome it.

  4. When the class comes back on Monday, each student presents one scenario and how they overcame their anger.

Good luck!
