You've got questions. Who can see it? Whose work can your child see? Is it safe? As a Torah Live parent, you're always in the driver's seat. Here's how it works.
How does approval work?
Your child uploads a challenge submission.
We email you to ask for your approval.
You choose who can see it. Then click Approve or Reject.
If you approve, our team checks it before it goes up on the Challenges Wall. Your child gets their points once you approve.
If you reject it, we delete it. Your child can always upload a new one.
Important: Parental approval is for kids under 16, and it only works when your child's profile has their birthday. Add it in their profile settings so every submission comes to you first.
Who can see your child's submission?
When you approve a submission, you pick who can see it:
All: All Torah Live members can see it.
Class/family members: Only people in your child's class or family can see it.
Only your child: No one else can see it.
Nothing on Torah Live can be shared to Facebook, Instagram, or other social media. Kids can't chat with each other on Torah Live, either.
Whose submissions can your child see?
On your dashboard, click your child's name in the scoreboard. Under Whose submissions can they view?, pick one:
All Torah Live members: Your child sees submissions from everyone. Kids under 16 need a parent's approval to post, and our team checks every submission against Torah Live guidelines.
Class/family members: Your child only sees submissions from their class or family.
Only their own: Your child only sees their own submissions.
Challenges are a kosher, fun, creative way for your child to show what they've learned. Kids have so much to offer, and we love giving them a stage. đȘ
Every family is different. You know your child best, and you should always feel 100% comfortable with what they do on Torah Live.
