How do I choose which courses my students see?

Open every course to your class, put your courses first, or limit it to only the courses you teach.

Written by Meir

You decide what your class sees. Each class has three options under What you teach:

  • All courses: students can watch every course.

  • These first: students see these courses first. Every other course stays open.

  • Only these: students can watch only these courses.

Change what your class sees

  1. Go to Students & grades in the school portal and pick your class.

  2. Click ••• next to the class name, then Edit class.

  3. Under What you teach, pick an option.

  4. Picked These first or Only these? Tick your courses. Search by name, pick a Category, or click Select all.

Edit class pop-up with These first and the course grid
  5. Click Save.

Add courses from the Curriculum guide

On any Curriculum pick, click Add to class and tick your class. It saves right away. If your class is on All courses, we ask first and switch it to These first. See Plan lessons with Curriculum.

Tip: Tell your students which courses you picked and why. On These first, they'll find your courses at the top. On Only these, they won't wonder where the other videos went.
