The school portal, at torahlive.com/school, is your school's home for teaching with Torah Live. Your own learning stays on your dashboard. To open the portal, click School portal in your account menu or the site footer.
What's inside
Every teacher on your School plan gets the full Educator plan: every video, quiz, game, and teaching kit. The sidebar holds your tools:
Dashboard: teachers, classes, quiz scores, and watch time at a glance.
Teachers: invite and remove teachers.
Students & grades: classes, students, invitations, and quiz scores.
Curriculum: course picks for every time of the year.
Teaching kits: every course's workbooks, source sheets, and guides.
AI teacher prep: clean transcripts for ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
Sub coverage: a one-time link that gives a substitute 48 hours of Torah Live.
Parents & home: your link and a ready-made message for families.
Academy & training: short how-to videos for your staff.
Support & extras: chat with us, book a call, or send a school request.
School settings: your school's name and logo, plus billing for the school admin.
Anyone can look around. To use the tools, your school needs the School plan.
Who can do what
Every school has one school admin, the person who bought the plan, and as many teachers as you like. The school admin is a teacher too, with full access to every video.
Only the school admin can invite and remove teachers, edit the school profile, handle billing, and see every class in the school (read-only). Teachers run their own classes and use every other tool. They see the Dashboard and the Teachers list read-only. When a teacher opens a tool only the admin manages, the page names the school admin.
Where did my classes go?
Used class tools on your dashboard before? They moved to the portal, under Students & grades. Nothing was deleted: your classes, students, and scores are all there. The Scoreboard shows "Your classes are on the new school portal ✨" with a link, and class links in messages and emails open the portal too.
Class tools are for teachers on a School plan, the Educator plan, or a Complimentary plan.
