(This lesson idea was told to us by a teacher from Florida who had been teaching the Emunah & Tefillah series for several weeks in his classroom and did the following activity with his students and reported to us that it was very well received by his students).

After the video of "Why did Hashem choose us - Part 2"

Present the following question to your students:

Why are you in this world? Why did God make you and put you in this world?

Part 1:

The class will be given one full session to reflect on this question, each student will be given a blank sheet of paper and they can find a quiet place in the school to answer this question. By the end of the session, each student should have filled out the paper with their answer.

Part 2:

The teacher will then post a list of 1/1 meetings with the students. Each student will meet with the teacher for 15 minutes to review their answers.

This activity is an excellent opportunity for students to reflect on a deep question that is so fundamental yet because of our busy lives we don't often have the time to think about it.

Did this answer your question?
