How student access works

Student accounts are tied to the teacher's subscription and limited to enrolled courses.

Written by Yisroel

Teachers invite students as sub-profiles inside their Torah Live account. Each student can only view the courses their teacher has enrolled them in.

How long do students have access?

Student accounts stay active as long as the teacher's subscription is active. If the teacher cancels, student access ends too. At the end of the school year, teachers can remove students or let the accounts expire with the subscription.

Can students log in from other devices?

Students can log in from any device, but only to view the courses their teacher has enrolled them in. Student sub-profiles are designed for classroom use under the teacher's supervision — they are not personal accounts.

Can students use their account at home?

No. Student sub-profiles are for classroom use only. If a child wants to watch Torah Live at home independently, they need their own personal account — separate from the school setup.

How do I invite students?

You can invite students in two ways:

  • By email — enter the student's name and email address. They'll receive an invite to activate their account.

  • By class code — share your class code or link and students can join without an individual invite.

Do students need their own email address?

Yes. Every student needs access to their own email address or phone number to receive their login code. Students cannot share a teacher's email address to log in.

How many students can I add?

The number of student sub-profiles you can add depends on your plan. Contact us if you need to add more students than your plan allows.
