The goal of this activity is for the students to understand the different components of the responsibilities of the Kohanim. In this activity, the students will learn about different aspects of the Kohanim and will understand what makes them special and the important role they have in the Jewish people.
Divide up your students into three groups, each group will be in charge of doing research on a different aspect of the Kohanim.
Group #1 - will research the role of the Kohanim in the Beis HaMikdash
Group #2 - will research the garments worn by the Kohen Gadol
Group #3 - will research the brachos that are given by the Kohanim
Each group will receive a large poster and will be posting the results of their research in a creative way on the poster. the posters will then be displayed in front of the class and a rep from each group will present the results from their research.
